I work with both adults and children

Counselling in Norwich, Norfolk

I'm Sandra Edwards and I am a qualified Counsellor and Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) .

COUNSELLING enables you to speak to someone about your situation outside of your circle of family or friends, and offers a safe place to air your true thoughts without being judged.  I will help you through this difficult time and explore the best way forward for you, or come to terms with a situation and move on from it.  Please visit my counselling page for more information.

As well as working with adults, I have worked as a school counsellor and provide Counselling to children and teenagers throughout the Norwich and Norfolk areas.  I have worked with NHS Speech and Language Therapists, Poppyland SureStart and The Benjamin Foundation.  I am also a qualified NVQ Assessor for Childcare and previously worked for Norfolk County Council.

Whatever you want to change... your career, prospects, attitude, enjoy life, relationships, emotions, interaction, how you view yourself and others, become more confident, become less stressed, less anxious, more relaxed, eat normally, stop panic attacks, be happier, clear headed, let go of old emotions, let go of old relationships, change your feelings towards someone or something, improve your communication...

I have many year's experience helping people with many different issues including eating disorders, anorexia, bulimia, lose weight, anxiety, stress, depression, increasing confidence, trauma and bereavement.

I can help you to find a way to re-connect and improve your communication and understanding.  Couples often try so hard so improve their relationship but sometimes things just seem to get worse instead of better.  Unfortunately, many leave counselling until the last minute, almost a 'last ditch attempt' at trying to save their relationship, their family life.  It's sad but often one or both people have already disconnected by this point and it's too late to go back.  In these situations I can help you to move apart in the best way possible for you both.

Often couples feel their relationship is going wrong but they don't know what to do about it.  They may try to talk about their feelings or what's bothering them but those conversations just lead to arguments.  Communication is key to a good relationship, early intervention and understanding could improve your relationship, get it back on track and prevent it from failing.
